Obituary Mr. Dale William “Buddy” Day, Jr. age 54 of the Argyle Community passed away Friday, December 27, 2019 at his residence. He was born August 11, 1965 in Florala, Alabama the son of Dale William Day, Sr. and Frances Marion Richards Balderama. After high school, Buddy worked as a forklift operator for Best Buy and Simpler Tile and Carpet in Niceville. A forklift accident forced Buddy into early retirement, an accident from which he never completely recovered. He was limited in his ability to be very active and spent many hours watching westerns on television, Gun Smoke being his favorite. He is predeceased by his father, a daughter, Kayla Porter and his sister Fran. Among survivors are his son, Justin Jay Porter, his mother, Frances Marion Balderama, his brother Charles Porter and his nieces. Private family services are being planned.
