Cynthia’s Obituary QUIRK, Cynthia Elna – of Flint, MI, age 56, passed away Monday, January 27, 2020. Cremation has taken place. A Private Memorial Service will be held on a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to her son, Chris and Amanda Quirk. Cindy was born in Flint, MI on May 9, 1963, daughter of Linda (Wilson) and Larry Grinnell and the late Almond M. Quirk. She was a very hard worker and had many jobs. Cindy was a very sweet, compassionate person and she loved her animals, especially her 2 cats and 2 dogs. She enjoyed spending time Up North, fishing and enjoying nature. Cindy especially loved spending time with her grandchildren. She was a beautiful, kind and special person who made friends everywhere she went. Cindy’s smile, kindness and sense of humor will be deeply missed by all who knew her and loved her. Cindy is survived by her son, Christopher (Amanda) Quirk; 6 grandchildren, Orion Quirk, Alivia Quirk, Zyaire Quirk, Zymiya Quirk, Jordan Craig and Makayla Mills; mother, Linda (Larry) Grinnell; 2 brothers, David (Tracy) Quirk and Danny Grinnell; sister, Kim (Steven) Floyd; partner, James Olson; 2 nieces, Heather Quirk and Ashley Young; 3 nephews, Michael Quirk, Scott (Nicki) Quirk and Andy (Izabelle) Young; 4 great-nieces, Sydney Olivarez, Loren Sprague, Raina Quirk and Alexis Young; 2 great-nephews, Vladimir Fielder and Carter Smith; great-great-nephew, Silas Williams; 2 aunts, Carolyn Self and Diane Masty; 3 cousins, Vicki Clark, Kelly Simpson and Paul Masty, Jr.; 4 second cousins, Nikki Simpson, Todd Simpson, Craig Alison and Nicole Alison; many other loving family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Almond M. Quirk; maternal grandparents, Gordon and Elna Wilson; maternal great-grandmother, Ila Gill and cousin, Sherry Masty.
