Obituary Southbridge – Clara M. (Petit) Morin, 98, died Wednesday, January 8, 2020 at the Southbridge Rehab and Health Care Center. Clara’s husband of 55 years, Josephat N. Morin, died November 17, 2000. She is survived by 2 sons, Joseph Morin and his wife, Sue, of Sturbridge, and Gerard Morin and his wife, Carla, of Brimfield; 4 daughters, Alice Croke and her husband, Raymond, of Southbridge, Anne Marie Bottcher and her husband, Dennis, of Sturbridge, Lucille Clark and her husband, Michael, of Sturbridge, and Paulette Wood and her companion, David Bibeau, of Southbridge; her son-in-law, Paul Richardson, of Sturbridge; 18 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and her great-great-granddaughter. She was predeceased by her daughter, Yvette Richardson, who died May 30, 2013; 2 brothers, Leo Petit and Ernest Petit; and 2 sisters, Helene Petit, and Solange Ballard. Born in St. Bonaventure, Canada on October 8, 1921, she was the daughter of Donat and Clementine (Lariviere) Petit. Clara was a member of Notre Dame Church and it’s Ladies of St. Anne Sodality. A calling hour will be from 8:30-9:30AM, Tuesday, January 14, 2020, at Sansoucy Funeral Home, 40 Marcy Street, Southbridge, MA, followed by the Funeral Mass at 10AM at Notre Dame Church, 446 Main Street, Southbridge, MA 01550.
