Obituary Chelsie Flannery Gaultney, age 82 of West Jefferson, died Friday, January 3, 2020 at her home. Mrs. Gaultney was born July 14, 1937 in Johnson County, TN to the late Joseph and Tilda Moody Flannery. She was the widow of Briant Gaultney. She was also preceded in death by a son, Barry Miller, eight brothers and four sisters. Mrs. Gaultney worked at the nursing home for 36 years. She loved God, her family, flowers, taking walks, sitting on the front porch singing and watching the animals. She was a loving mother, grandmother and friend, and will be deeply missed by all. Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 6, 2019 at 3:00 pm at Valley Home Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Miller Furches Cemetery. Mrs. Gaultney will lie in state from 2:30-3:00pm prior to the service at Valley Home Baptist Church. Mrs. Gaultney is survived by, sisters, Nettie Perkins and Lois Williams, brother, Carroll Flannery, sons, Ronnie and Tommy Miller, daughters, Linda, Brenda and Audrey Miller, 6 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.
