Obituary Charles William Hoskins, 63, of Gambier, passed away, surrounded by his family, Tuesday, December 31, 2019 at his home. Charles was born July 26, 1956 in Mount Vernon, Ohio to William and Ada {Ferguson} Hoskins. He graduated from Knox County Career Center for Automotive Repair. Charles married Linda Guedras on May 19, 1979. After working in the oil fields, he began a long career working at Howard Street Body Shop. He loved woodworking, RC Airplanes, his critters, but always put his family first. Charles will be deeply missed by his wife Linda; children Josh (Tysha) Hoskins and Nick Hoskins both of Mount Vernon ; grandchildren Gunnar and Tori; mother Ada (Russell) Lamb of Fredericktown; sister Mary (John Kelly) McMurtry of Homer; brothers Michael Lamb of Florida, Jerry Lamb of Brandon, Steven Lamb of Mount Vernon, and Kevin Lamb of Fredericktown; he is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Charles was preceded in death by his father. Memorial services will be Monday at 3:00 pm at Roberts Funeral Home-Mount Vernon Chapel with Pastor Richard Hite officiating. Burial will be at Mount Vernon Memorial Gardens. Online tributes may be made at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com.
