Obituary Charles Howard Losky, Sr., 78, of Elbridge passed away in Auburn on Jan. 8th after a long fought battle with cancer. Charles worked at the Syracuse Herald Journal and Tessy Plastics from where he retired in 2002. He could always be seen at any event that involved his children or grandchildren. He loved to play cards and always has a good story. He was an active member of the Community Council softball program, snowmobile clubs, rod & gun clubs and a lifetime member of NRA. He was predeceased by in 1994 by his daughter Colleen Hefti and granddaughters Angel Losky, Amanda Parsons, and Victoria Richie. Surviving are his wife of 59 years Barbara, his daughters Louise (Mike) Maloney, Pamela (Dan) Merrill, Tammy (Scott) Jeffery and son Charles (Michelle) Losky Jr. Charles was blessed with 14 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Also surviving are 2 brothers John and Norman Losky and sister Laura Raschke. Our dad left a lasting impression on those he loved and knew him well. He will forever be missed. Friends and family are invited to call 4-6 pm Tuesday, Jan 14th at the Bush Funeral Home 120 E. Main St. (Rt. 5) Elbridge with a prayer service to follow at 6pm. Contributions may be made to the Jordan Ambulance Fund or the Seymour Loft Park in care of Village of Elbridge. To send flowers to Charles’ family, please visit our floral section.
