Carol’s Obituary AIKEN, SC – CAROL ANN McCARTHY (née Dahl), 84, widow of William Francis “Bill” McCarthy, died Thursday, January 9, 2020 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers. A native of Chicago, IL, Carol was a daughter of the late Howard and Amelia Fusco Dahl. Survivors include her children, Karl (Teresa) Lotter, Kristen (Donald) Moore, Donald Lotter, Michael Lotter; step-children, William (Jary) McCarthy, Kathy (Wayne) Wickboldt, Donald (Vicky) McCarthy, Kevin (Carol) McCarthy, Jim (Brenda) McCarthy; daughter-in-law, Janet Lotter; thirteen grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, Carol was preceded in death by a son, Richard Lotter.
