She was a member of South Crest Baptist Church for fifty plus years. Bobbie was a mom to everyone. She was a devoted servant to her Lord. Bobbie was a loving wife, devoted mother and proud “Nanny”. She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnnie W. Gunter; her daughter, Beth G. Dupree; her parents and her three siblings. She is survived by her son, Phillip (Barbara) Gunter; five grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; her brother, Larry (Sandy) Garner; her sister, Mary (Charlie) Jackson; several nieces, nephews and extended loving family and friends. Funeral service will be Wednesday, January 29, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at South Crest Baptist Church with burial following at South Crest Cemetery. Bro. Scott Bush will be officiating the service. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the church.
