Betty’s Obituary Betty Jane Lee Franklin, 64 , a native of Franklin and a resident of Patterson, passed away Wednesday, January 22, 2020 at Ochsner Foundation Hospital in New Orleans at 7:45 p.m. Betty was a loving mother, sister, and friend. She showed kindness to everyone she knew and met. She enjoyed cooking for family gatherings, and loved her music. Betty is survived by two sons, Jonathan Orgeron Sr. of St. Amant, Ricky Comeaux Jr. of Morgan City; two daughters, Amanda Comeaux of Lafayette, Lechelle Deshotel of St. Amant; stepdaughter, Rosanna Raymond and husband Warren of Patterson; 12 grandchildren; 4 step-grandchildren; brother, Euclide Legnon of Morgan City; three sisters, Anna Stevens, Peggy Boone of Berwick, Mary Jane Comeaux of Morgan City. Betty was preceded in death by her first husband, Andrew L. Arcemont; husband, Ricky Franklin; parents, Nelia and Clarence Lee; brother, Norah Legnon; three sisters, Gloria Horton, Rita Legnon, and Dorothy Ahmad; grandparents, Angelina and Honore Cavalier and Elizabeth and Richard Lee. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 28, 2020 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Visitation will be held Tuesday, January 28, 2020 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass. After Mass, Betty will be laid to rest in Morgan City Cemetery. Read More
