Betty Jane (B.J.) DeWeerd, 93, passed away December 24,2019 surrounded by her loving family. Born September 30th 1926 to Everett and Ruth Spaulding in Holland Michigan, Preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Lowell. Moved to Tucson July 4th 1958 from Michigan. Betty worked for the University of Arizona as manager of the Park Bookstore on campus. She loved to travel, play bridge, WII bowling, and playing black jack at the casino. She lived at the Country Club of La Cholla for 9 years. Survived by daughters Pamela Kahn, Barbara Bray (Jim), Nancy Regens (Stephen Pompea). Grandchildren Cynthia Regens, Bradley Regens (Victoria), Kimberly Bray Johnson (Christopher), Kelly Hilkemeyer Taylor (Scott), Ginger Bray and Jamie Bray Hernandez (Don.) 12 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren .She was a very loving kind person.
