Berthaleice Kinch-Rieley September 03, 1939 – January 15, 2020 Share this obituary Send Flowers View/Sign Guestbook WATERBURY Berthaleice Kinch-Rieley “Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother & sister” Mrs. Berthaleice (Ingram) Kinch-Rieley, 80, entered into the gates of Heaven on Wednesday, January 15, 2020 at her home surrounded by her family. She was the loving wife of Alvin Issac Rieley. Berthaleice was born in Concord, NC on September 3, 1939, daughter of the late Harrison and Francis Marie (Caldwell) Ingram Sr. She was a graduate of Crosby High School, and St. Mary’s School of Nursing. She was employed by the State of Connecticut as a social worker for over 27 years until her retirement. Berthaleice enjoyed every possible moment with her grandchildren, she loved books, butterflies, baking, going to parks, yellow roses, carnations, and her favorite color was purple. Besides her husband, Alvin, of 50 years, she leaves to mourn, her children, Victor N. Kinch and his wife, Tatia, of Waterbury, Vernon L. Kinch and his wife, Makeisha, of Boston, MA, Darlene G. Kinch of N.J., Verna Maria Foster, Lillian Denise (Edwards) Saunders and her husband, Terrence (Bertie), of Waterbury, her sister, Harriett Sherffield and her husband, Troy, of Waterbury, 16 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and a son-in-law, Walter Foster. She was predeceased by a daughter, Noel L. Kinch, brother, Harrison Ingram Jr., and a sister, Flo Lee Correll. Arrangements: A funeral service will be held Monday, January 20, 2020, 11:00 a.m. at Chase Parkway Memorial/The Albini Family Funeral Home, 430 Chase Parkway, Waterbury. Burial will follow at New Pine Grove Cemetery. A calling hour will be held Monday, from 10:00 a.m. till the time of the service at the funeral home.
