BREWER- Arthur Morse Phillips Jr., 58, passed away peacefully with his family at his side Wednesday, January 15, 2020 at Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center. He was born January 29, 1961 in Bangor, the son of Arthur Morse Sr. and Elisabeth (Heinlien) Phillips. Arthur was predeceased by the man who raised him and loved him as his own, Stanley Phillips. He is survived by his mother, Elisabeth; father, Arthur M. Phillips Sr. and his wife, Rita; sister, Anna Street and her husband, Clarence; brother, James Phillips; 4 step-sisters and many cousins and friends. The family would like to thank Charlotte Perkins of Brewer Housing and the kind hearted residents of Somerset Place Apartments for all of their kindness. The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks and appreciation to Nurse Cathy Brooks. In keeping with Arthur’s wishes services in the spring will be private.
