Obituary Antoinette Szklarz, 78, of Chicopee passed away peacefully at home on January 9, 2020. Born in Biddeford, Maine to the late Odilon and Beatrice (Provencher) Teitelbaum. She lived in Springfield most of her life. Toni was an extremely loving and caring person who always put family and friends first. She worked at the former Diamond Match & National Blank Book, now known as Avery Dennison for over 18 and ½ years. Toni loved spending time with her family, trips to Maine, cooking and animals. She leaves her loving daughter, Laura who was her caretake for the last few years, her loving son, Steven and his significant other, Shauna of Chester, and her two cherished grandsons, Jonathan and Sebastian. She also leaves her longtime friend since childhood, Edna L’Heureux and family friend Laurie Sears who Toni fondly referred to as her second daughter. Services are private and at the convenience of the family. Contributions in Toni’s memory may be made to the Thomas J. O’Connor Foundation, 627 Cottage St., Springfield, MA, 01104. Nowak Funeral & Cremations Services of Springfield is assisting the family.
