Anthony’s Obituary A resident of Independence, LA passed away on Wednesday, January 8, 2020 at North Oaks Medical Center in Hammond. He was 71 years of age and was born on June 15, 1948 in Independence. Anthony is survived by his mother, Angelina M. Matise; daughter, Emily Matise; grandson, Jacob Hendee; sisters, Frances Neal and husband, Marvin B. Neal, Grace Misita and husband, Raymond Misita, Charlene Gratia and husband, Terry Gratia; brother, Charles J. Matise; and numerous nieces and nephews. Anthony is preceded in death by his father, Santo J. Matise. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to visitation at McKneely Funeral Home, Amite, from 12:00 Noon until 1:45PM on Friday, January 17, 2020.
