Anthony’s Obituary AURINO, Anthony – age, 86, passed away Sunday, January 19, 2020 peacefully at his residence. A private committal service will be held at Great Lakes National Cemetery, officiated by Pastor Bruce Garner. Those desiring, may make contributions in Anthony’s name to Grace Hospice in Flint. Anthony (Tony) was born Flint, Michigan on May 24th, 1933 to Gaetano and Andrianna Aurino. He married Nancy Luplow on November 25, 1953: his wife of 66 years. Tony loved his beautiful wife Nancy, spending time with his family, and enjoyed baseball, fishing, and his beloved Michigan State Spartans. He entertained all who would listen with stories of his youth in Flint, his time spent in the Army, and all his adventures. Tony loved to laugh, making hand-tossed pizzas, baking bread, and telling everyone “be alert!” every time they’d drive somewhere. Anthony is survived by his son, Tony Aurino and wife Paula; daughter, Kari Martell and husband Curt; daughter, Lorrie Hester; sister-in-law Vicky Williamson and her husband Gary Williamson; grandchildren, Dominic, Luke, Christy, Scotty, Daniel, Michael, Jake, and Michael Ray; seven great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy; sister, Agnes Branoff and brother-in-law, Tom; brother, Jack Aurino and sister-in-law, Barbara.
