Swanson Annika Bessie Jean Swanson was born October 9, 1997, at Imperial, Nebraska to Monti C. and Cheryl A. (Lavalleur)Swanson. Annika grew up and attended school in Imperial, graduating from Chase County High School in 2016. Annika enjoyed many activities including; fishing, singing, dancing and bowling. She participated in volleyball, basketball and golf. She especially loved spending time with her kids and hanging out with friends and family. Annika was a member of Zion Lutheran Church of Imperial. She employed at several different locations including the Imperial Pizza Hut and recently at the Crossroads Convenient Store in Wauneta, NE. Survivors Include: Parents: Monti and Cheryl Swanson of Imperial, NE Sons: Alex Swanson Levi Delafuente Brothers: Calvin Swanson of Lincoln, NE Joey Swanson, of Imperial, NE Sister: Dusty Swanson of Keystone, NE Half-Brother: Erik Boutwell of Arizona Half-Sister: Becky Bergman-Johnson of Holdrege, NE Grandparents: Wayne and Gloria Swanson of Ogallala, NE Uncles and Aunts: Chris (Darrell) O’Neal Lori (Marty) Widger John (Lindsay) Swanson JoEllen McCoy Robert Lavalleur Annika was preceded in death by her grandparents; Wayne and Barbara Lavalleur, great-grandparents; Elis and Bessie Hawks, nephew; Keith Adams Memorial Services will be held Tuesday, December 10, 2019, 10:30 A.M. at the Zion Lutheran Church of Imperial, with Pastor David Kahle officiating. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been suggested to the Swanson family in Annika’s memory.
