Beloved father of Brooks; former husband of Kristyn Benton; loyal son of Sue and the late Jerry Benton; treasured brother of Jerry (Kim Dilts) Benton and David (Chris) Cotner-Benton; cherished uncle of Meera, Alix & Zoey, Emmy, and Mendel, McCoy & Macie Jane; great uncle of Rowan and Ellis; beloved nephew of Bruce and Donna Moore of Plano, TX; dear friend of Richie Shank, Chad Thomas and Shane Schroeder. Aaron was a partner at DW Simpson, a prominent actuarial recruiting firm. He loved music, stand-up comedy, baseball and watching Brooks on the soccer field. Visitation will be Saturday, January 25, 2020 at Trinity United Church of Christ in the Fellowship Hall from Noon- 3:00 pm with a Celebration of Life beginning at 3:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, please donate to Brooks’ school, Lycee Francais DeChicago, 1929 W. Wilson Avenue, Chicago, IL 60640, In memory of Aaron Benton.
