Patrick Raymond Salmon Of Abington, passed away Wednesday morning November 27th, 2019 surrounded by his loving family in the home that he and his wife just moved into 3 weeks ago; after a brief but courageous battle with cancer at the age of 45. Born on October 26, 1974 in Evanston, Illinois; beloved son of the late Nancy (O’Laughlin) Salmon and John Francis Salmon, Patrick was raised in Atherton, California and moved to Massachusetts to attend college. Patrick resided in Waltham for several years and has been a resident of Abington for the past 14 years. A graduate of Bellarmine Preparatory School in California, Patrick furthered his education graduating from Boston College in 1996. He was employed as an Accountant throughout his life working with S X Business Services in Norwood, Sawyer Realty Group in Needham, and Analysis Group in Boston. He was a huge Boston College Hockey fan and had a passion for music most especially the “Mighty Mighty Bosstones”. His greatest devotion in life was to his amazing wife and two beautiful children. He is survived by his devoted & loving wife of 14 years Bryanne (Raines) Salmon; his two cherished children, Raymond Bryan Salmon and Duggan John Salmon both of Abington; his father John F. Salmon and his wife Dorothy of California; his dear siblings Kevin Salmon and his wife Caryn of California; and Shawn Salmon and her husband Nic Maisano of California; his father-in-law and mother-in-law Addison “Buddy” Raines and Jaqueline (Roche) Raines of Waltham; his brother-in-law Chip Raines of Waltham; his nieces & nephews, Quinn and Shay Salmon; Sophia and Christopher Maisano; Matthew, Megan and Mason Raines; and numerous dear aunts, uncles, cousins and devoted friends. Relatives & Friends are respectfully invited to attend a Funeral Service in celebration of Patrick’s Life in the Mary Catherine Chapel of Brasco & Sons Memorial, 773 Moody Street, WALTHAM on Thursday morning Dec. 5th at 11:30 a.m. Visiting Hours will be held in the Brasco & Sons Memorial Funeral Home on Wednesday Dec. 4th from 4 – 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may be made in Patrick’s memory to the Hospice of the South Shore, 30 Reservoir Park Dr, Rockland, MA 02370.
