Annie Louise (Grimes) Tatum passed away peacefully on December 1, 2019 only a few days shy of 97 years of age. Louise was the wife of the late Noah Carl Tatum and daughter of the late Lemuel Enoch and Lena Mae Grimes. She was born December 4, 1922 on Indian Creek in Lewis County, TN. She leaves a son Gary Wayne Tatum (Kaye) of Arlington, TN, a daughter Marsha Ann Johnston (late Bob) of Hohenwald, TN, a son David Michael Tatum (Diane) of Lawrenceburg, TN, 3 grandchildren Amy Tatum Coulson of Arlington, TN, Cory Bunch of Lakeland, TN, Megan Johnston Dugger of Hohenwald, TN and 9 great grandchildren. She is survived by one brother, Robert Herschel Grimes and was preceded in death by another brother Lemuel Edward Grimes. Louise resided in Lewis County and Hohenwald all her life. She was a faithful member of the Hohenwald Church of Christ. She was a graduate of Lewis County High School and was employed by the Lewis County School System until her retirement. Louise was a loving and caring mother and grandmother and she always put the needs of her family above her own. She was dearly loved and will be missed. Visitation and Service will be Tuesday, December 3rd at the McDonald Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 11:00AM to 1:00PM with the service beginning at 1:30PM. Louise will be laid to rest at Swiss Cemetery also in Hohenwald.
