Obituary Michael Joseph Vitas “Blue”, age 59, passed away on Wednesday, August 28, 2019 in Mascot, TN. Born May 23, 1960 in Cleveland, OH to Mary Ellen Vitas and Joseph Vitas (Johnnie Vitas). He was a beloved son, brother, father, uncle, and friend. He loved watching Tennessee athletics and Nascar every chance he had. He will be remembered for his numerous jokes, kind heart, and infectious smile. Michael was preceded in death by his parents, Mary Ellen Caldwell and Joseph Vitas, his life partner, Sara Neblett, and his brother-in-law, Dean Ingram. He is survived by his only son, Wesley Vitas, Brittany Vitas (daughter in law), Cameron Vitas (grandson), Johnnie Vitas (step-mother), Debbie Ingram and Sandi Caldwell (sisters), Grant Ingram and Eric Caldwell (nephews), and many friends who will miss him dearly. His wishes were to be cremated and celebrated. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date. Arrangements were provided by Baldwin Cremation & Mortuary Service.
