Mary’s Obituary Funeral services for Mary Toney, 93, of Tylertown, MS will be held at 2:30 PM on Friday, December 13, 2019 at Hartman-Hughes Chapel with Rev. Lonnie Case officiating. Burial in the Tylertown Cemetery. Mrs. Toney passed away at her residence in Tylertown, Mississippi on Monday, December 9, 2019. She was born December 3, 1926 in Bassfield, Mississippi to the late Jewell and Tom Speights. She was also preceded in death by her husband Billy Toney; sisters Carol Sandlin, Gerry Thompson and Dot Bowers; and brothers Tommy Speights. Mrs. Toney was a member of the Tylertown United Methodist Church and attended the Knoxo Baptist Church. She enjoyed working in the flower beds in her yard. Survivors include her daughter Mary Ann (Andy) Davidson; son Sidney (Patti) Toney, granddaughters Brooke (James) Stevenson and Kristi Davidson; grandsons Scott (Christy) Toney and Chad (Eryn) Toney; 8 great grandchildren; brother Bill Speights; and numerous nieces, nephews, friends, and loving family. Pallbearers are Scott Toney, Cade Toney, Chad Toney, Logan Toney, Conner Toney, and Chris Mitchell. Visitation will be at Hartman-Hughes Chapel on Friday, December 13, 2019 from 1:00 PM until service time at 2:30 PM. Read More
