Judy Walker, age 76, passed away Saturday, December 28, 2019. Judy was born Wednesday, December 15, 1943, to Julies Franklin Samples Jr. and Noveta Mae Mcanally in McKinney, Texas. Judy met the love of her life John Franklin Walker Sr. in Paris, Texas. They married and began a life together and were blessed with 4 children. She was a very special lady with strength like no other. She was always friendly and caring to everyone. Judy never knew a stranger, her door was always open to anyone in need. But boy did she love those Dallas Cowboys! Her favorite saying was “Heavens to Betsy!” Judy enjoyed reading Stephen King novels, playing games and spending time with family. She was as the strongest link that kept their family chain together. Judy is survived by her 3 sons, Robert “Bobby” Walker Sr. of Lake Brownwood, TX, John “Tiger” Walker Jr. of Palestine, TX, James “Otis” Walker of Amarillo, TX; grandson Robert Walker Jr. and wife Jade of Lake Brownwood, TX; 18 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, John Franklin Walker Jr.; daughter Renea Walker Rios; 2 sons, Tim Samples and Bill Samples. The family would like to send a special Thank you to Brownwood Nursing and Rehab, Christy Denton and Kindred Hospice for the Love and Care they have shown Judy.
