HINERMAN, Gary R., 77, of Moundsville, W.Va., died Sunday, December 22, 2019 at home surrounded by his family. He was born March 13, 1942, in Glen Dale, W.Va. a son of the late J.T. and Melba Ruckman Hinerman. He was a member of the First Christian Church in Moundsville and a deacon for the Christian Church. He was retired from the Mobay Chemical Company. He was a U.S. Navy veteran. He was the past commander for the American Legion Post 3, 8 year service officer for the American Legion Post 3, President of the Moundsville Veteran’s Honor Guard, and a former member of the Moundsville Eagles. Gary was also an avid bowler and loved spending time with his family. He is survived by his loving wife, Toni Yarnevic Hinerman; three children, Ed (Kim) Yarnevic of Benwood, W.Va., Leigh (Dan) Kahlbaugh of Moundsville, and Renae (John) Yocum of Glen Dale; six grandchildren, Morgan, Matthew, Griffin, Emily, Patrick, and Adam; three great grandchildren, Braelynn, Greyson, and Harper; and several cousins, including Linda Markey. Friends will be received on Thursday, December 26, 2019 from 2-7 pm at the Altmeyer Funeral Home, Lutes & Kirby-Vance Chapels, 118 Grant Avenue, Moundsville, where funeral services will be held on Friday, December 27, 2019 at 11 am with Rev. Wesley Howsare officiating. Interment with military honors will follow in Riverview Cemetery, Moundsville. Online condolences may be expressed to the family at www.altmeyerfuneralhomes.com
