Andrea “Ney’ Perez passed away peacefully on Monday, December 23, 2019, surrounded by her family. Even though she did not have children of her own, she was like a second mother to her nieces and nephews who loved her dearly. She was loved by all of her extended family. Andrea is preceded in death by her nephew, Alejandro Aguilar, her sister and brother-in-law, Catalina and Tomas Aguilar, as well as her parents, Dolores and Jesusa Perez. Left to cherish her memory are her nieces and nephews, Antonio Aguilar, San Juana (Gabriel) Martinez, Tomas (Yvonne) Aguilar, Jr., Ricardo (Sherry) Aguilar, Leticia Aguilar, Valentin Aguilar Graciela (Oscar) Cavazos, III, and Robert (Norma) Vasquez. She is also survived by grandnieces and grandnephews: Sabrina, Catalina and Bertha Andrea Aguilar, Chrissy and Oscar Cavazos, IV, Melissa and Jessica Martinez, Emily Aguilar, Alejandro (Caroline) Aguilar, II, Sydney Aguilar and Samantha Aguilar. Andrea is also survived by great-grand nephews, Justin Cavazos and Oscar Cavazos, V. She is survived as well by numerous extended family members, who were dear to her heart. The family would like to express their gratitude to her physician, Dr. Carlos Espinosa, who provided her with excellent care and compassion. Thanks also go out to the 5th floor nursing staff at Laredo Medical Center. Funeral services will be held Friday, December 27, 2019, visitation will start at 8:00 am to 11:00 am at Fred Dickey Funeral & Cremation Services. A Holy Rosary will be recited at 11:00 am.
