Obituary Gary Lee DeBusk was born December 1, 1955 and went home to be with his Savior on November 18, 2019. He was 63 years old. Gary was a kind man, generous to a fault and never meeting a stranger. He loved fiercely, with an unflinching heart. He loved his big family and would have done anything for them. Gary was a proud Marine and Knoxvillian, and a die-hard patriot with a noble sense of honor. He loved to laugh and tell stories; he’d do anything to make people smile. He loved monster pictures, hot rods, and writing poetry. His children will always remember his Donald Duck voice, his sense of humor, silly stories and his hugs. Most of all, he loved the Lord. Gary had a passion for collecting pictures of Jesus and we find comfort knowing that he is now looking at, and loving, the true face of Jesus Christ. Gary will be deeply missed. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Charlene DeBusk, his big sister Brenda Sargent and baby brother Michael DeBusk, and his cousin and best friend, Robbie DeBusk. He is survived by his children: Brandea McGill Garraffa (husband Robert), Heather Peralta (husband Shawn), Felicia Bunch (husband Wilburn), and Dusty DeBusk; his grandchildren: Ashten, Ericka, Mackenna, Branden, Triston, Nadia, Natalie and Nathan: great grandsons Kairo and Mason; his siblings Ralph DeBusk Jr., Greg DeBusk, Kenny DeBusk, Cathy Hurst, Debbie Jones, Leisha Maples, and Faith Williams; cousin Kimberly Britt, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and other family members.
