Thomas Evans “Snag” Saunders August 05, 1960 – November 17, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card| Memorial Donation Thomas Evans Saunders, 59, of 991 Whiteridge Road, Sutherlin, VA, passed away, Sunday, November 17, 2019 at Centra Lynchburg General Hospital, Lynchburg, VA. Born August 5, 1960 in Danville, VA, he was the son of the late Eva Mae Fallen Saunders. Survivors include two daughters, Robin Montague (Antonio) of Danville, VA and Keshawn Montague of Charlotte, NC; one son, Scottie Edmonds of Danville, VA; eight sisters, Joyce Edmonds, Marcia Saunders, Pamela Brooks and Kathy Fallen all of Sutherlin, VA, Edith Jeanette Poteat and Vanessa Gunn(Larry) both of Danville, VA, Marilyn Saunders of MD and Sharon Rodgers (Tony) of Ringgold, VA; three brothers, Wallace Saunders (Eunice) and Raymond Saunders both of Ringgold, VA and Linwood Saunders (Darlene) of Williamsburg, VA and a host of other relatives and friends. In addition to his mother, he was predeceased by four brothers, Earl Saunders, Kenneth Saunders, Theodore Saunders and Samuel Saunders. The family will receive friends at the residence. Funeral services are incomplete at this time and will be announced when completed. Fisher and Watkins Funeral Home is assisting the Saunders family.
