Shirley Marlene “Grandma Shirley” Olson, 70, of Liberal, passed away on Tuesday November 26, 2019 at her home. She was born on November 14, 1949 to Lester Henry and Betty Jo (Back ) Helton at Oswego, Kansas She was a graduate of Concordia High School in Concordia, KS. Shirley worked as a Salesperson for Garden City Roofing & Insulation. She enjoyed coloring books, dancing, watching movies, socializing and her grandchildren, nieces & nephews. Shirley is survived by her Son, Jim Harris and wife Tanya of Liberal, KS; Sister, Teri Helton Smith and husband Jim Ryals of Concordia, KS; Brother, Jim Helton and wife Marcia of Concordia, KS; Five Grandchildren, Jazlyn, Darian, James, Jordan, and Giuliana; One Great Granddaughter, Gabrielle Jade; Three Nieces & Nephews, Jay, Amy, and Lisa; Five-Great Nieces & Nephews, Jacob, Nia, Angel, Jennifer, and Alexander. She was preceded in death by her parents and One Granddaughter, Maria De Cristo. There will be no viewing as cremation has taken place. Memorial Services will be 10:00am Saturday December 7, 2019 at the Miller Mortuary Chapel.
