Ronald Patrick Harris, Sr. of Kansas City, Missouri November 29, 1962 – November 1, 2019 Ronald Harris, Sr., 57, was born in Kansas City, Missouri to the Viola R. Garrett (Harris) and Edward Byzer, September 29, 1962. He transitioned to glory on Friday, November 1, 2019. Ronald accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior at a very early age. He was preceded in death by his parents, stepfather, Vernon Garrett Sr. and uncle, James Harris. Ronald was an avid sports fan. He was a loyal and dedicated Chiefs fan. He enjoyed cooking, watching basketball, and playing basketball in his earlier years. His favorite past time was internet card games, and Candy Crush. He was a simple, and humble man who enjoyed the company of family and friends. If you didn’t know him, “You better Ask Somebody”, was his coined phrase. He leaves to cherish his memory: an aunt, Cleta-Mae Marks; sister, Angela Harris-Olds (James Olds); children Ronald Harris Jr. and Ciera Harris; niece, Erica Harris and a host of cousins, family and friends. Services for Mr. Harris will be held 5:30 P.M. Friday, November 8, 2019, at E. S. Eley & Sons Funeral Chapel. Private Disposition. Friends may call from 4:00 P.M. to service time Friday at the chapel. Thoughtful care and services provided by E. S. Eley & Sons Funeral Chapel, Inc.
