Robert L. “Buck” Collum, 75, of 506 South Cambridge Street, Ninety Six, widower of Barbara Warren Collum, died Monday, November 11, 2019 at Self Regional Medical Center. Born in Batesburg, he was a son of the late Julius Carlee and Edith Warren Collum. He was retired from Greenwood Mills, Mathews Plant, where he was a member of the Quarter Century Club. He was a member of Eureka Lodge, A.F.M. and Temple Baptist Church. He is survived by his daughter, April Prater (Joe) of Ninety Six; sisters, Judy Spradley (Lane) and Mary C. Burnett Munn, both of Batesburg and Patsy Lee Collum Turner of Leesville; brothers, Richard Collum (Pearl), Larry Collum and Julius C. “Bo” Turner (Faith), all of Batesburg; two grandsons, Kris Prater (Cheryl) of Newberry and Joey Prater (Megan) of Lexington; three great grandchildren and an number of nieces and nephews. Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Harley Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Bryan Cox and the Rev. Louie Murray officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Todd Wall, Dwight Herring, Kris Prater, Joey Prater, Blake Resico and Clark Resico. Honorary escort will be members of the Berean Fellowship Sunday School Class of Temple Baptist Church. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 11:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. The family is at the home.
