Robert Pruitt, age 90, passed away on Saturday, November 23, 2019. Bob was born in Chilton, Alabama, on December 13, 1928, to the late Obediah Harlan Pruitt and Verta Clyde Bankston Pruitt. He was a veteran of the United States Navy and owned a fish camp in Maine utilizing his professional music talents performing for his patrons. Bob is preceded in death by his parents, one brother and one sister. He is survived by his son, Robert “Bobby” (Cynthia) Phillips, of Whites Creek, Tennessee; brother, William (Bill) Pruitt; granddaughter, Caitlin Welke; great-grandson, Deacon Welke; and companion of over 10 years, Ms. Ruby Johns of Ashland City, Tennessee.
