Obituary Pat L. Whitford, 80, of Plymouth, IL died at 6:20 pm Wednesday November 6, 2019 at the Lamoine Retirement Living Center in Macomb, IL. She was born on January 31, 1939 in Terre Haute, IL to Walter and Pearl Mitchell Rhoades. She married Gene Whitford in February 1957 in the Augusta Assembly of God church. He survives. Pat was a graduate of Plymouth High School. She enjoyed sewing and spending time in the outdoors, but her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by a daughter, Kathy (Darrell) Chenoweth of Macomb, IL, 2 grandchildren; Matthew Chenoweth of Macomb, IL and Jennifer (Tristen Protsman) Chenoweth of Macomb, IL, 2 sisters; Lois Kuchling of Quincy, IL, Bernice Landrus of Las Vegas, NV, 1 brother, Jim Rhodes of Missouri and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Jay Whitford, 3 sisters and 4 brothers. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday November 9, 2019 at St. Mary’s cemetery near Colmar, IL by Rev. Carl Redding. Visitation will be held from Noon to 1:30 Saturday at the Hamilton Funeral Home in Augusta, IL. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
