Obituary Mark M. Mobley, age 84, of West Green Georgia passed away on Wednesday November 13, 2019 at Coffee Regional Medical Center. Mark was born on August 7, 1935 in Coffee County, Georgia the son of the late Leonard Monroe Mobley and the late Hortense Wilcox Mobley. Mark was a prominent farmer of West Green and was a member of West Green United Methodist Church. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Jerry L. Kirkland and a sister, Cadwin O’Steen. Survivors include his wife, Joanne Grantham Mobley of West Green, GA; two sons, Rodney Mobley (wife Wanda) of West Green, HA and Calvin Lamar Smith of West Green, GA; two daughters, Beth Kirkland of Nicholls, GA and Lynn Silas (husband Joey) of Douglas, GA; brother, Marvin “Buddy” Mobley of Waycross, GA; sister, Elnora Lott of Douglas, GA; seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. The family will receive friends Friday morning November 15, 2019 from 11am prior to the service at 12noon at the graveside. Graveside services will be held Friday November 15, 2019 from Wilcox Cemetery in Coffee County at 12:00noon with Rev. Carl McDonald and Rev. Chris Calhoun officiating. Pallbearers will be Calvin Smith, Brandon Mobley, Bud Morris, Chase Kirkland, Cody Kirkland, Lindsey Hutcheson and Mandy Adams.
