Mafalda’s Obituary Mafalda Pannullo passed away on Friday, November 15, 2019 at Genesis at the Woodlands Care Center in Plainfield. She was 92 years old. Born in Brooklyn, she has resided in Woodbridge for past 45 years. Mrs. Pannullo was employed as a seamstress with Sak’s Fifth Avenue in New York City; and was an avid bowler. She was predeceased by her husband, Anthony A. Pannullo, in 2012; sister, Catherine Giordano; and brothers, John Curcio, Theodore “Teddy” Curcio and Salvatore “Sam” Curcio. Surviving are her daughters, Mary Mercado of Lawrenceville and Kathryn Sierminski and her husband, Raymond, of Saylorsburg, PA; son, Anthony J. Pannullo and his wife, Julie, of Sewaren; and grandchildren, Gabriella Mercado, Anthony E. Pannullo and Tyler Sierminski. Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, November 20, 2019 at 8:45 a.m. from Costello-Greiner Funeral Home, 44 Green Street at Barron Avenue, Woodbridge. A Funeral Liturgy will follow at 9:30 a.m. at Saint Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 436 Port Reading Avenue, Port Reading. Interment will be in Saint James Cemetery, Woodbridge. Visitation for family and friends will be on Tuesday, November 19, 2019 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
