Linda Lee Francis, 70, of Burlington, died at 9:07 PM Wednesday, October 30, 2019, at the Great River Medical Center in West Burlington. Born October 21, 1949, in Burlington, she was the daughter of Jesse and Gladys Patton Snakenberg. On February 6, 1973, she married Greg Francis; they later divorced. She was then reunited with the love of her life on April 1, 1997, Gary Kentch, whom she shared her life with. She was a 1967 graduate of Burlington High School. Linda enjoyed playing BINGO, going on cruises, traveling, especially to Las Vegas, and doing crosswords. She was a fan of the Denver Broncos. Most of all, Linda loved to spend time with her grandbabies and great-grandbabies. Survivors include her life partner, Gary Kentch of Burlington; one daughter, Vonda (Ray) Sammons of Mount Pleasant; two sons, Gregg (Janette) Francis of Johnston, CO, and Joseph (Jessica) Francis of Burlington; step-children, Scott (Debbie) Atteberry and Lesa Atteberry; grandchildren: Skye, Oshyn, Medow, Tylar, Brianna, Kellie, Dylan, Gwenn, and Rogan; great-grandchildren: Logan, Lola, Cora, Aliana, Tomlin, Lily, Ryker, and Grayson; and siblings, Dianna Quinn, Rexetta Spiker, Beth Cary, David Snakenberg, and Charlie Snakenberg. She was preceded in death by her parents and two siblings, Connie and Ronnie. Visitation will be 12:00 PM until 7:00 PM with the family to receive friends 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Monday, November 4, 2019 at Prugh~Thielen Funeral Home. Cremation has been entrusted to the care of Prugh~Thielen Crematory. A memorial has been established.
