Kim was born on August 11, 1962 in Tomball, Texas to Edwin “Eddie” and Louise Burts-Owens. Kim was a beloved mother to 2 children, James Davis and Krystal Miller. Kim’s favorite past time was spending time with family and close friends. She is preceded in death by her father Eddie Burts, her step-father Pierce Owens, brother Derrick Rosa, daughter in-law Heather Parker Davis and granddaughter Lauren Davis. Kim is survived by her mother, Louise Owens, her children James Davis and wife Kelly, and Krystal Miller and wife Ana: her grandchildren Kalee, Derrick, Ashlyn, AnaLeah, Drake and Draden. She is also survived by her siblings Wade Burts and Dangel Owens. Kim was a gentle spirit that was considered by many as a best friend, Mom and trusted confidant. She will be remembered by all who knew her as a strong warrior that never gave up on her battle with cancer. In lieu of flowers, family asks for donations to be made to the American Cancer Society.
