Obituary Mrs. Ira Sue Huckaby Wilkinson, 72, died Tuesday, November 12, 2019, at her home in Oxford. The funeral service will be Friday, November 15, 2019, at 1:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Waller Funeral Home with Rev. David Wilkinson and Rev. Jeffrey Taylor officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service beginning at 11:00 in West Hall at Waller Funeral Home. A private graveside service will be held in Yellow Leaf Cemetery. Waller Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Born on October 24, 1947, in Oxford, Mississippi, to the late Aubrey Birchel and Mildred Mize Huckaby, Mrs. Sue was a member of Antioch Primitive Baptist Church. She was an avid and accomplished seamstress and enjoyed crocheting. She also enjoyed gardening. Mrs. Sue was a retired Assistant Supervisor from Northeast Electric Power Association, retiring after 24 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Allen Wayne Wilkinson. Mrs. Sue was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister. She is survived by her two daughters, Pene Russell and her husband, Steven and Kathleen Taylor and her husband, Jeff; three sons, Tony Wilkinson and his wife, Melody and David Wilkinson and his wife, Allyson of Oxford, MS, and Al Wilkinson and his wife, Kaitlin of Saltillo, MS; and sister, Sandra Wilkinson and her husband, Myron of Oxford, MS. She especially loved her sixteen grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
