D’Wan Andrel Buchanan, 34, of Beloit, Wisconsin, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, November 16, 2019 at Beloit Memorial Hospital in Beloit, Wisconsin. D’Wan was born on February 24, 1985 in Janesville, Wisconsin, the son of William Charles and Gale Lynn (Lewis) Buchanan, Jr. He graduated from Beloit Memorial High School in 2003 and then attended Blackhawk Technical College pursuing a degree in Automotive Repair. D’Wan worked in construction and previously was employed at Hormel in Beloit. D’Wan will be remembered for his smile, laugh, loyalty, and always being positive. He would give you anything and everything he had if you needed it. D’Wan had a strong love for music and had even written a few songs and a tell-all book. D’Wan is survived by his mother, Gale (Domingo) Morales of Beloit; father, William Charles Buchanan, Jr of Beloit; sons, D’Wan “Little D’Wan” House, JaPree Buchanan, and Ajay Buchanan all of Beloit; siblings, Jane Coppernoll of Janesville, William Willie” Buchanan III of Beloit, Christy Coppernoll of South Beloit, Illinois, Tramaine Buchanan of Beloit, and Timothy Buchanan of Beloit; maternal grandmother, Hazel Lewis of Beloit; mothers of his children, Misty House of Beloit, and Starkeisha Vance of Beloit; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncle, other relatives, and friends.
