Donald Zane Belcher, 67, of 246 Oakmont Trail Danville, went home to “His Mansion in Glory” on Tuesday, November 12, 2019 after a brief illness. Donald was born in Danville on June 17, 1952 a son of the late Robert Melvin Belcher and Elsie Barber Belcher. Donald worked for Sentry Cash Registers in sales and service, WW Limo Service and Modern Pharmacy. He was a member of Faith Memorial Baptist Church. On October 6, 1972, he married the love of his life, Montine Barton Belcher, who survives of the residence. Survivors also include his beloved daughter, Kimberly Belcher; his twin brother, Ronald Belcher and wife, Karen; two sisters, Cheryl B. Jarvis, Teresa B. Gibson, and husband, Tim; and a number of nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, November 16, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Faith Memorial Baptist Church conducted by the Rev. Daniel Lackey. The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 6:00-8:00 PM at Faith Memorial Baptist Church and at the residence at other times. In lieu of flowers, the family suggest that memorial donations to Danville-Pittsylvania Cancer Association. Wrenn-Yeatts Westover Chapel is serving the Belcher family.
