Ms. Barbara Jean Shields, 79, of Greenville, passed on Tuesday, November 26, 2019, at Prisma Health Upstate. She was a daughter of the late Jessie Edwards and Lois Gordan. She was preceded in death by her son, Michael Shields. Surviving: Three daughters, Angela Rochester of Virginia Beach, VA, Lorraine (O’Neal) Wilson of Lyman, SC, and Sharon Shields of Virginia Beach, VA; two sons, Steven (Bridgette) Shields and Shelton Shields, both of Norfolk, VA; five sisters, Audrey Gray, Regina McNair, Sheila Kinard, Yvette Johnson and Janet Reyes; three brothers, Jessie Edwards, Thom Edwards and Dwayne Edwards; eleven grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
