Carmel Missionary Baptist Church in Vidalia. Burial will follow at Vidalia Cemetery with Pastor Raymond Riley, Sr. officiating. Visitation will be held Friday evening from 4 to 6pm at the funeral home under the directions of Concordia Funeral Home of Ferriday, LA. Mrs. Holmes, daughter of Dan and Josie Percy Fair was born in Vidalia and died at Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria, LA. She is survived by her husband, Adam Holmes, Jr.; her children, Otis Fair of Grambling, LA; George Fair of Monroe, LA; Steve Fair and his wife, Shemekia of Ferriday; Troy Fair and his wife, Melanie; Sharron Fair; Patricia Moore and her spouse, Willie Davis, III all of Vidalia; Tyrone Fair of Natchez, MS; one brother, Jimmy Fair of Ferriday; three sisters, Marie Jenkins and Martha Burden both of Vidalia; Pearly B. Fair of St. Joseph, LA; numerous grandchildren; god-child, Jessica Warner of Vidalia; and a good friend, Phyllis Ellis and her husband, Ernest of Ferriday. Mrs. Holmes if preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Dan Fair, Jr. and Robert Fair.
