William Lee “Willie” Smith, age 61, of Sidney, Ohio passed away at 1:42 p.m. Monday, October 14, 2019 at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, Ohio. He was born in Mchoul County West Virginia December 7, 1957, a son of LaDonna Louise (McFarlin) Smith and the late Delbert Lee Smith. In addition to his father, Willie was preceded in death by a brother, Gary Smith. On February 14, 2018, Willie married Michelle Martin in Sidney, and she survives along with his daughter, Amnitty (Shon’non) Wooten; two sons, Jerold (Sally) Smith and Bill (Mande) Smith; two step-daughters, Heather (Curtis) Compton and Kimber Boshears; twelve grandchildren, Monica (Dalton) Shopshire, Macy (Shawn) Bradley, Samantha Garrett, Lucas Foreman, L.B. Smith, Gage Smith, Preston Smith, Shailyn Giles, Elijah Smith, Levi Smith, Thomas McNerlin, and Kolton Compton; three great grandchildren, Oakley, Bristol, and Corey and a brother, Terry Smith. A celebration of life will be held at 6:00 p.m. Friday, October 18, 2019 at the Quincy Community Building. The arrangements are in the care of the staff of the Daring & Sanford Funeral Home in DeGraff, Ohio. D.S.
