Obituary of Virginia A. Jeffers Virginia A. Jeffers, 86, of Herrington Road, Addison (Town of Woodhull), passed away on Thursday evening, October 10, 2019 at Absolut Care of Three Rivers in Painted Post. Her loving family was with her as she passed. Born in Blossburg, PA on July 27, 1933, Virginia was the daughter of the late Nathan and Loetta (Newman) Rockwell. On May 13, 1951, she married Robert E. Jeffers. He predeceased her on November 16, 2002. Virginia was employed for 9 years at Ingersoll Rand in Painted Post. She later worked as a landscaper and grounds keeper at the Pinnacle State Park. She loved this job as growing and tending to flowers was a huge love in her life. She also enjoyed jigsaw puzzles. The most important part of her life was taking care of her large family. She truly loved time spent with her children and grandchildren. She is survived by her sons, Robert Jeffers Jr. of Addison, Steven Jeffers of Tioga, PA, Jesse (Beth) Jeffers of Woodhull, Joseph (Tonya) Jeffers of Woodhull, James (Melissa) Jeffers of Woodhull and Ronald (Tonya) Jeffers of Woodhull, her daughters, Kathy (Ted) Carr of Nelson, PA, Kristi Cox of Florida, Patti (Steven) Warren of Woodhull and Sherry (Mike) Empson of Woodhull, many grandchildren and great grandchildren, her sisters, Roberta Space of Addison and Pearl Wright of Middlebury, PA and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sons, William Jeffers and Jeffery Jeffers and her brothers, James Rockwell, Russell Rockwell and Leon Rockwell. A graveside service will be held in Baxter Cemetery, Town of Tuscarora, at the convenience of the family.
