Virginia Hendrix Miller, 80, wife of the late James Willis Miller, of 106 Playground Road, Walhalla, passed away Thursday, October 10, 2019, at AnMed Health Medical Center. A native of Walhalla, SC, Mrs. Miller was the daughter of the late Earl and Eunice Florence White Hendrix. She retired from Jantzen and was a member of Walhalla First Baptist Church. Mrs. Miller is survived by her sister: Gaynell Hendrix Hightower (Luther) of Seneca, SC; and nephews: Garry Hightower (Jill) and Scott Hightower (Tami). Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM, Saturday, October 12, 2019, at Davenport Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Oconee Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 PM, Saturday, prior to the service, at Davenport Funeral Home. Flowers are accepted or memorials may be made to the Shriner’s Hospital for Children, 950 W. Faris Road, Greenville, SC 29605. The family is at their respective homes.
