Tina Potter, age 48, of Covington passed away Saturday, October 12, 2019. She was born in Atlanta on May 25, 1971. Tina was a strong-willed woman; who loved being outside, and loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father Mr. Lawrence New. Ms. Potter is survived by her mother Bebe New of Covington; her longtime boyfriend Dale Hughes of Covington; her children Andrew Potter (Courtney) of Oxford, Bobby Wisner of Covington, Gerald Wilson of Covington, and Samantha Bryant of Oxford, her grandchildren; Logan, Americus, Novalee, Serenity, and Rosalee, her brothers and sisters; Larry New of Covington, Starsky New (Jessica) of Rutledge, Dana Darby (Denny) of Covington, and Lisa Robinson (Reggie) of Mansfield along with a host of nieces, nephews, other family and close friends. Funeral services for Ms. Potter will be held at 2 o’clock Friday, October 18, 2019 at the Chapel of J.C. Harwell and Son Funeral Home with Mr. Starsky New officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM prior to the service of Friday. J.C.
