Timothy’s Obituary Timothy M. Manzer, 71, of Seward, formerly of Atkinson, passed away Monday, October 7, 2019. Born to Theodore and Yolanda (Baca) Manzer on March 23, 1948 in Ainsworth, Nebraska. Tim enjoyed hunting, fishing, watching football, playing cards, and wood working. He coached football, basketball, and track throughout his life. He loved to garden and especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. Tim owned and operated Manzer Petroluem for 25 years. He is survived by his wife; Sally, children; Shannon (Danny) Boes of Valentine, Heather Vanderslice of Seward, Kevin (Amy) Manzer of Norfolk, grandchildren; Lindsey, Grant, Cole Boes of Valentine, Jack, Elise Manzer of Norfolk, mother; Yolanda Manzer of Atkinson, sisters; Doreen (Ken) Prussa of Yankton, SD, Doris (Ken) Monson of Minnesota. Tim was preceded in death by his father; Theodore Manzer. Visitation will be held 4-7 PM Friday, October 11, 2019 at St. Vincent de Paul’s Catholic Church, 152 Pinewood Ave in Seward, NE with a 7 PM Rosary. Mass of Christian burial will be held 2 PM Saturday, October 12, 2019 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 104 S Tuller St in Atkinson, NE. Read More
