Thomas’ Obituary Tom Ferraro was born in Los Angeles, CA on June 20, 1934 to Vincent and Grace Ferraro. He was the middle child, with older brother, Ron and younger sister, Nancy. Tom had 2 children: daughter, Patti and son, Eddie. Tom grew up on a farm and from his earliest days, was a rambunctious, mischievous, fun-loving daredevil. On of Tom’s greatest attributes was his work ethic. He spent his life working in construction, driving a truck and operating a crane. he was always the best he could be and was sought after for jobs. Tom was also a proud army veteran and served 2 years in Korea. Tom loved anything that was fast and dangerous! he began drag racing as a teenager and was at the top of his field for many years, driving AA fuel altereds , dragsters and funny cars. He even raced boats for a time. Tom shared his love of the outdoors and adventure with his kids, making great memories camping, hiking and water skiing! Tom passed away peacefully on October 8, 2019. He was 88 years old. Tom’s memorial will be held in May (exact date to be announced later) at Irwindale Raceway. Read More
