Nogueras, 49 of Emporia, Kansas died Friday, October 11, 2019 at Newman Regional Health in Emporia. Stacy was born October 18, 1969 in Atchison, Kansas the daughter of Roger Clark and Sharon (Ramsey) McElfresh. She worked in housekeeping at the Comfort Inn in Emporia and was a member of the Sunrise Free Will Baptist Church in Emporia. On June 30, 2018 Stacy married Michael Nogueras in Emporia. He survives of the home. Other survivors include: her mother Sharon Ramsey of Atchison, sons Michael Scherer of Atchison, Nicholas Scherer of Wichita, Jonathan Scherer of Topeka, daughter Deborah Vineyard of Atchison, sisters Pam Hudson of Irma, South Carolina, Shelly Khan of Lawrence, Kansas, Sherry McElfresh of Lakeland, Florida, grandchildren Gracelyn Scherer, Emily Vineyard and Sofia Vineyard. Cremation is planned. Memorial services will be held at a later date.
