Shirley’s Obituary Shirley Roberts Lowman, 84, of Radford, passed away Sunday, October 27, 2019. She was a member of New Dublin Presbyterian Church. She was an avid golfer and won the Virginia Invitational in 1960 at the Roanoke Country Club. She hold course records at Thornspring Country Club and had won many tournaments at every local course. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Mildred Roberts; and her husband, Robert Anthony Lowman. Survivors include her son, Robert Anthony “Tony” Lowman III; daughters, Stephanie Lowman and Sally Lowman; and many other relatives and friends. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, November 2, 2019 at the New Dublin Presbyterian Church. A reception will follow.
