Sara’s Obituary Sara Nichols, 71, of Gun Barrel City, passed away on Tuesday, October 15, 2019 in Kemp, TX. She was born to the late Joe and Ruby Cook on November 15, 1947 in Wills Point. Those left behind with cherished memories of Sara are her daughters, Kimmie Aguilar of Dallas, Christie Fitzgerald and Robin of Gun Barrel City; brothers, Haskell Cook and Grace of Eustace, Bill Cook and Cozette Foster of Gun Barrel City, Gerald Cook and Gerry of Gun Barrel City, Roger Cook and Virginia of Oklahoma City; sister, Vee Jay Cook and Pablo Xiques of Grand Prairie, TX; grandchildren, Lauren Corigan, Joshua Corigan, Justin Corigan, Christopher Aguilar, Katelyn Fitzgerald, Kristen Fitzgerald and Matthew Fitzgerald; great-grandchildren, Grayson Fitzgerald, Arihanna Torres and Autumn Torres; along with many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Donald Ray Corigan; son, Donald Ray Corigan Jr.; brothers, Floyd West, Gene West, Joe Cook, Jack Cook, Wayne Cook and Roy Cook; sisters, Faye Roach, Juanita Langley, Nell Slocom, and Lois Baggett. Sara was born in Wills Point, raised in the Dallas area then moved to San Angelo for 13 years, spending the last few years in Gun Barrel City near her loved ones. She retired in 2001 from Minyard Grocery Store. Sara enjoyed watching Jimmy Swaggart, listening to gospel music and loved going to family reunions. A Visitation Service will be held Friday, October 18, 2019 from 5 PM to 7PM at Allan Fuller Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will be held Saturday, October 19, 2019 at 11AM at Allan Fuller Funeral Home with Walter Hatchel and James Cook officiating. Burial will follow at White Rose Cemetery. Read More
