Sally D. Lucas, 77, of Terre Haute, Indiana formerly of Sullivan, Indiana passed away on Saturday, October 12, 2019 at IU Health Methodist Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was born on March 11, 1942 in Sullivan County, Indiana the daughter of Charles McKinley and Hallie Pirtle McKinley. Sally was a beautician for over 50 years in Sullivan and Terre Haute and she was a member of the Church of Christ in Terre Haute. Sally is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Ronald “Ron” Lucas and brother, Rudy McKinley. Survivors include son, Kevin Monk (Jackie) of Sullivan, Indiana, daughter, Kerri Hamilton (Dennis) of Sullivan, Indiana, two grandsons; Kristopher (Meagan) Hamilton and Kendall (Karly Jo) Monk, granddaughter, Kayla (Brian) Flenar, five great-grandchildren; Siler Hamilton, Sadie, Samuel, Simon and Sedric Flenar, three step great-grandchildren, Lance Frazee, Landree Frazee and Jayden Walters and sister, Mitzi Sappington (John) of Dennison, Illinois. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who were all very special to her. Sally adored her family. A memorial service will be at 6:00 PM, Wednesday October 16, 2019 at Brust Funeral Home in Sullivan, Indiana. Visitation will be 3:00 PM until 6:00 PM Wednesday, October 16, 2019 at Brust Funeral Home.
